BMW 2009 3-Series Release This Fall
|
|
For years, the BMW 3-Series has maintained the lofty position of being the most widely-sold premium vehicle in the world, and we suspect 2009 will be no different. With the introduction of the 2009 BMW 3-Series slated for release this Fall, BMW is positioned to extend its dominance in the luxury class even further with this newly-designed line-up of 3-Series vehicles.
Sleeker design modifications, revised engines, and further innovations in both performance and style all make an appearance on the 2009 BMW 3-Series. A selection of more environmentally conscious, fuel-economical engines graces the new 3-Series, while performance has been enhanced with the available xDrive - BMW's proprietary electronically-controlled all-wheel drive system in conjunction with its 6-speed automatic transmission.
A striking design accentuates the front end, sharpening the 2009 3-series' already elegant shape and while new visual side features place emphasis on its sleek profile. The two rear LED light clusters unify to create a handsome, sophisticated appearance. On the inside, the cabin has been enhanced with modern, high quality components that build upon a sporty elegance, clever ergonomics and comfortable layout of high-tech gadgetry. iDrive makes an appearance here, further adding to the sense of luxury, utility and performance. With its refined style, perfected performance and slew of high-tech components, the 2009 BMW 3-series will make the best luxury-performance car better. Scheduled for a debut in Fall of this year, BMW will certainly make a splash in the luxury-performance class with this incredible offering. |

BMW once again breaks the mold and challenges the current conventions of car-making with its revolutionary all-new 2009 BMW X6. As impossible as it sounds, BMW has managed to perfectly blend the size and utility of a SUV into the 2009 BMW X6, while somehow managing to keep it handling remarkably like a coupe.
A choice between two turbo-charged engines is surely one of the main sources of the nimbleness of the new BMW 2009 X6, with the base models outfitted with the same twin-turbo 3.0 liter inline-6 as the 3 and 5 series sedans, delivering 300 hp and 300 pound-feet of torque. The higher trim model receives the new twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8, delivering 400 hp and 450 pound-feet of torque. Both engines use direct injection to ensure maximum, efficient production of power.
Additionally, BMW will be using the X6 platform to debut their new chassis control system, Dynamic Performance Control. Collaborating with the xDrive all-wheel drive (which is standard on both trim models of the X6), the Dynamic Performance Control system provides ultimate control by varying the distribution of power between the wheels and ensuring stability regardless of speed. In addition to distributing the power between the wheels, the Dynamic Performance Control also adjusts the level of torque delivered between the front and rear wheels, allowing more stable steering when cornering.
The concept of the all-new BMW 2009 X6 isn't entirely focused on offering under-the-hood driving pleasure. It is beautiful as well. With the sleek lines and sloping roof of its design, it has a noticeably stylish shape, and will be a real head-turner wherever it might journey.
All BMW 2009 X6 models are being built in Spartanburg, SC and have an American debut at Vista BMW dealership in the 2nd quarter of 2008. Reserve yours today!
It's a year of firsts for BMW. Recently, BMW released its all-new 1-Series, a model that has already met with much critical and public praise, and now has released the first-ever M3 with a V-8 engine. What does this mean for the 2009 BMW M3?
Well, for starters, the 2009 M3 can transmit 414 horsepower to its rear-wheel drive with its close-ratio six-speed manual gearbox, with peak torque climbing up to a lofty 295 pound-feet, allowing the vehicle to accelerate from 0-60 in an impressive 4.8 seconds and reach an overall 155 mph. Adding to the year of firsts is the M3's interesting roof design. BMW claims it is the first production vehicle in its segment with a roof made of reinforced carbon fiber, a tactic often used in professional racing sports to lower overall vehicle weight, and drop the center of gravity. This enhances the speed, nimbleness and handling of the vehicle, making the M3 yet another perfectly-optimized Ultimate Driving Machine. Throw in weight-optimized aluminum components, and other little feats of weight engineering, and you can see the intent within the design- to make the lightest, most responsive and powerful production vehicle that can be made. BMW pays attention to all the little details, and they all add up to an incredible driving experience.
Aesthetically, the 2009 BMW M3 has a lot going for it as well. Almost everything on the vehicle has been carefully redesigned. Its body features such as the flared wheel arches, air-intake scoops, dual tailpipes and side sills are all custom-designed for the 2009 M3. A careful 50/50 weight balance on the axles truly makes this a chassis designed to be "faster than its engine". All and all, it has an athletic, sporting stance that separates it from the competition.
Stop in and test drive a 2009 BMW M coupe, sedan or convertible model, as their arrival spells sheer driving delight to any and all drivers that appreciate a true love of handling, power and performance. |
The new 2008 BMW 1 Series Coupe represents the core BMW philosophies of pure performance and premium design. By combining sporty rear-wheel-drive dynamics, agile handling, powerful engines and seating for four, the 1 Series Coupe reinvents the niche that the legendary BMW 2002 created. On sale at Vista BMW, the 1 Series Coupe is available in two versions; the 128i and the 135i.
Powered by a 3.0-liter, 230 horsepower inline 6-cyinder engine that generates 200 lb-ft of torque, the 128i Coupe will feature Valvetronic valvetrain management and aluminum/magnesium contruction-core elements of BMW's EfficientDynamics. The powerful 135i Coupe features BMW's twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine that produces 300 horsepower and an incredible 300 lb-ft of torque from as low as 1,400 rpm. With its direct piezo gasoline injectors, twin low-mass turbochargers and air-to-air inter-cooling, optimum performance and economy is achieved with no loss in engine response.
For the 135i Coupe, acceleration from 0-62 mph is accomplished in 5.3 seconds and top speed is electronically limited to 155 mph. Both engines feature on-demand engine coolant pumps that improve fuel economy and reduce parasitic losses for increased output.
Both models are tremendously powerful, and there is so much available power the 1-Series seems to leap from corner to corner and traffic light to traffic light with incredible speed, grace and panache. A sport suspension, 18" mixed performance tires, and 6-caliper BMW branded front brakes dress this beautiful machine up even further, and all come as standard equipment. All in all, it is a remarkable vehicle at a remarkable price, and we invite you to come see it for yourself. By the time your test drive is complete, we are sure you'll be glad you came.

At Vista BMW Dealership Pompano Beach, it is hard to keep the eyes off of this beautiful Ultimate Driving Machine. From the long, sweeping lines of its chassis design, its rounded, long nose and the subtle tilt of its rear, the 2008 BMW Z4 3.0si is an undeniably handsome vehicle. With a style that is as evolutionary as it is elegant, it truly looks as smooth as it drives.
With an in-line 6 cylinder engine, you can expect some decent thrust from its engine, with the 3.0i producing 255 hp and 220 pound-feet of torque for driving power. The six-speed shifter is responsive and precise, and the brakes are remarkable, stopping the car with promptness and control. Thanks to a well-engineered chassis and nearly even front-to-rear weight balance, the 2008 BMW Z4 3.0si drives smoothly over most bumps and holes in the road. Responsive and agile, corner-handling is a pure joy, as the car grips the road's surface splendidly, regardless of the speed, while the well-contoured seats ensure you are comfortable for the whole ride.
All of these points are clear evidence that this model was designed with a scrutinizing driver in mind; a lover of cars who enjoys squeezing every bit of performance out of every turn and straight-way. As a classic concept based on the principles of car design, built by the greatest engineers in the business and including all of the auto industry's cutting-edge technology, the 2008 BMW Z4 3.0si as a whole is nothing less than a work of art. Stop in and take a look, and even better - take it for a test drive.
This year's BMW 7-Series, as expected, once again maintains itself as the absolute top choice in class. Regardless of whether you grade it in terms of luxury, performance or prestige, the 7-Series has plenty of it all. As the flagship model of the German carmaker, it remains the standard within its class to which all others compare themselves to and strive to duplicate.
On the inside, you'll find a roomy cabin interior with firm, finely-lined seating for 5. No matter where you sit, you'll truly feel like you are experiencing first-class travel. The 2008 BMW 7-Series comes with the now-familiar i-Drive with its optimized redesign- now easier and more intuitive to use than ever, allowing the driver and front passenger to control just about all functions of the vehicle including navigation, climate, audio, Bluetooth and other BMW systems. The list of available interior technology continues with keyless entry, door brakes, on-board computer, rear sunshades, auto-closing doors, and a 13-speaker sound system.
Under the hood, the technology continues with an impressive 4.8 liter V8 engine that can generate 360 horsepower for the 750 trims, and a V12 for the 760 that can deliver 438 horsepower. The B7 gets a modified, supercharged V8 that produces an amazing 500 horsepower and 518 pound-feet of torque, allowing it to go 0-60 in 4.8 seconds. All of the models use a six speed Steptronic automatic transmission. All of this power comes with copious amounts of safety and protection including 1st and 2nd row inflatable Head Protection System, active knee protection, side impact airbags and the more standard front airbags. Adaptive brake lights, antilock brakes, Dynamic Stability Control, Dynamic Traction Control, Active Roll stabilization and many other features round out the immense list of safety systems. Since its debut in 1978, the BMW 7-Series has always worn the crown as king of the Super Luxury class. Spacious luxury, unmatched technology, and sheer performance and power define it as the pinnacle of German automobile achievement.
The 2008 BMW 328i Coupe is a top seller in the US and with good reason. The well-built, solid-feeling premium compact is dressed to the nines inside and out. The ride is comfortable, the available power impressive, the high-quality components well-fit and the handling unmatched. All-in-all, the vehicle is a lasting testament to BMW's world class engineering.
The 328i boasts a 3.0 liter inline 6-cylinder engine that can produce 230 horsepower. Acceleration is precise and instantaneous, allowing a greater command of the road. A near 50/50 weight distribution on the axles and a newly-designed suspension perfectly blends a comfortable ride with a strong sense of handling, meaning your passengers will appreciate the comfort while the driver will appreciate the direct feel of contact with the road. A six-speed manual is standard, with automatic, and the steering-mounted paddle shifting Steptronic system are available as options.
A look inside will reveal an excellent blend of comfort and luxury. The cabin is roomy and inviting, while the driver's position is clearly designed to involve an appreciative driver with the control and function of the vehicle. Controls and features are carefully and intelligently placed, without the sacrifice of design or luxury. Supportive seats are clearly designed for comfort on rides both short and long, and a well-laid instrument cluster round out the dashboard with a both functional and artistic look. Dynamic Stability Control, Dynamic Traction Control, adaptive brake lights, and 4-wheel ventilated anti-lock braking system round out the safety features.
All in all, the 2008 BMW 328i Coupe is a remarkably engineered vehicle with rock-solid handling, generous and precise acceleration, luxurious comfort and prestigious styling. One look, one drive, and you will understand how the 3-Series has remained, and will remain, at the top of its class in every way.
