The seamless and visually striking frame of the BMW Cruise Bike was manufactured through hydroforming, a state-of-the-art process using high-pressure water to allow the walls of the tube to expand inside a mold and free the aluminum of any shape restrictions. The original and unmistakable impression of the BMW Cruise Bike is a mixture of a beach cruiser and a trekking bike with a cushioned seat.
Whether it's a scenic ride along the boardwalk or an invigorating adventure in the countryside, the Cruise Bike delivers a smooth, enjoyable ride at a leisurely pace. The versatile, unique engineering also transforms riding on rough city streets into a pleasurable experience. The bike's tires are smooth in the middle, yet they have plenty of traction toward the outer area to help navigate through wet riding conditions.
Specifications include: Shimano 24 gear shift, Allivio V-brakes, BR-M421-S, Continental City tires with reflector stripes, wheels with wear indicator and sport pedals with reflectors.
