All-new BMW X3 – what you need to know.
BMW is proud to present the all-new third generation of the BMW X3! For the last 20 years, BMW has built many BMW models at their Spartanburg, SC plant, including the Z3, the first-generation Z4, BMW X3, ,X4, X5, X6 SAVs, and will now continue the tradition with the 2018 BMW X3.
The BMW X3 will be available with two engines new to the model line: a 4- or 6-cylinder engine, as well as in all-wheel drive or xDrive. The 4-cylinder is a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four, and the 6-cylinder is a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six. They produce 248HP with 258lbs-ft of torque and 355HP and 468lbs-ft of torque respectively.
The 2018 BMW X3 gets fresh styling for a new look, including an extended wheelbase, longer hood and tapered roofline, giving it an expressive, rakish profile. Inside, the center stack angles toward the driver. Available sport seats, three-zone AC control and plenty of room for cargo and passengers fore and aft. Other options include panoramic sunroof, a larger heads-up display, 10.3-inch touch infotainment screen, the latest iDrive software and Apple CarPlay compatibility. It can also be equipped with active-safety features such as adaptive cruise control, a blind-spot monitor, lane-departure warning, and lane-keeping assist as part of the optional Driving Assistance package.
